Peregrin Took, more often known as Pippin or Pip, is the trouble maker of the fellowship. Completely unintentionally, Pippin has caused a range or mishaps, often leading the rest of the group into danger. Although, his heart is in the right place and he will have a chance to show his bravery in the next film. |

Merry's full name is Meriadoc Brandybuck. Merry has had to grow up a lot since the fellowship was formed as he looks after Pip who seems to be slightly more immature. Merry is the perfect person for him to look up to. He is at heart a fun loving soul but understands better than anyone the consequences of the quest failing. |

Merry and Pippin are the best of friends and are very loyal to the rest of the fellowship. When they are taken captive by the Isenguard Orcs they manage to escape and convince Treebeard and the other Ents in Fangorn forest to attack Isenguard and destroy it. |
