| Phillip Reed (John Ritter) is tired of one-night stands and is in search for �Ms. Right�. Gloria Franklin (Connie Sellecca), a bride-to-be, wants to get even with her fianc�e for his insensitivity. On his last weekend as a single man, he goes off with his friends to Las Vegas to have one last fling before getting married. Gloria feels that if her fianc�e can have one last fling, then she as a woman is entitled to have one as well. She meets Phil at the zoo and tells him her name is Marcia Lions. Phil immediately falls in love with her, and believes that she is his true love. He invites her to go away for the weekend with him and she accepts his offer. She only meant for him to be her �last fling�, but after realizing that she may have feelings for him she departs in the early morning before Phil awakens. She leaves a videotape for him to watch, which is a recording of her explaining why she left. Even after watching the videotape, Phil is still convinced that she is his true love and sets off to find her. |
