| Adrian Towers (Polly Draper) is living her life to the fullest. She is happily married to the supposed love of her life. Adrian and her husband Kevin agree to never have children because Kevin is very adament against it. However, Adrian becomes pregnant and when Kevins learns of her pregnancy, he informs her that he wants her to have an abortion. She refuses and he leaves her. Bill Grant (John Ritter) is a successful TV producer who lives thousands of miles away from his two sons. Adrian and Bill meet and becomes friends. Their friendship ends up developing into a romance. When Adrian's child is born, she decides that it is only right to tell Kevin his child is born. Kevin comes to visit the baby and it seems that he is having second thoughts. Adrian must now choose between a loyal companion or the father of her child. |
