Love Life: His girlfriend is 'Claire' from the t.v programme '2 point 2 children'. They have been together for 8 years and are planning to get married in a couple of years time and maybe have kids. Dec wants about 4- 5 kids.

His life: At the age of 13 he got apart in Byker Grove. Then a year later Ant came to the programme, from there Ant 'n' Dec have been bestfriends. ''The first time I saw Ant he was sitting alone, with his hands on his head thinking 'I'm a misable bugger.'' says Dec. From there, in 1993 - 1997, Ant and Dec was known as PJ and Duncan (names came from their character's in Byker Grove). After they have done many shows i.e: The Ant 'n' Dec show, Ant 'n' Dec unzipped, Slap Bang, Ant 'n' Dec's camera show...etc...
Dec has been offered many shows with out Ant but unfortunally they haven't been good enough.

Family: Mam - anee, Dad - Alphonsus. Dec has 3 sisters called: Patricia, Moira and Camalia. He also has 3 brothers called: David, Martin and Dermot. Dec is the youngest out of the 7 childern.

School life: Dec went to St. michael's Junior school and then St. Cuthberts Catholic school for boys. For his grades he says ' I got 3B's, 2C's, a D and 2F's for Art and Physics.' Also Dec is abit of a show off!
