| THE FRUSTRATORS, How Art Got in the Frustrators Written By: Art Tedeschi As you already know, I'm Art and I play drums for the Frustrators. I've been playing in bands since I was sixteen and it's been a blast. I've lived on the East Coast all my life and moved out to Berkeley in Dec. of '98. I left behind a great punk band called The Louts. That band consisted of some of my closest friends and I hated to leave as we were headlining and filling clubs at the time, but oh well it was time to move on! I have played in bands before with both Terry and Jason so I'm very used to rehearsing with them. I've known Mike personally for a couple of years now.Although I didn't grow up in the East Bay, I never missed a Green Day show on the East Coast. Mike, Billie Joe and Terry go back way before me, but that's Terry's own story. Anyway, Jason and me played in a noisy, silly, but very funny punk-preformance band called Violent Anal Death with our very good friend Jamie. I also played with Terry in a pop punk influenced band called Waterdog. Also in that band was my close friend Sean (bass), and Billie Bouchard (Dance Hal Crashers, Limp). Billie and me have another band going out here called The Broadcast with Pete Rippens (Crimpshrine, Tilt). That's pretty much a brief history of my recent playing. |
