January 2006
So, heres the deal -- as you can see I've redone my site.   I've also decided to make some changes in the way I do it.   Instead of writing something about every job/day, I will instead do more of a "blog" type thing.   I will give highlights of the things that I've worked on, since let's face it some days are just not very exciting and they certainly do not warrant their own journal entry.   Hopefully, I'll be able to update it more often then without having to worry that I'll have to write several different entries all at once.

As part of the new look, I've made this more of a site instead of just one page.   Old journal entries will be available on the "Archived" section.   There are also a couple of new photos in the "Photo Gallery."   I have also added an "Author" section to deal with my new career as an author of children's books.   Right now it mostly deals with the first one, but as things develop I will add more information.   There is also a "Links" section.   All the old Reba links are there, where if you click them I earn points for Reba stuff.   I have also joined Amazon.com's affiliates program.   Through them I have put up some movies (on DVD) that I have worked on.   When you click on them for more information, it takes you to Amazon.   If you purchase anything while you're there (the product you clicked through or not), I will get points for referring you.  So, if you're planning on buying from Amazon.com, please click on those links!

Now, I thought I'd let you know what I've been up to for the past couple months.

November --
It started off really nicely when I worked for a couple of days on
Gilmore Girls.   It was their Thanksgiving episode.   I should be visable in it, but I missed it the first time around.   I was a townie, and I spent most of my time in the diner.   I also did episodes of Monk and Yo Mama (don't even ask!).   I also worked on several films throughout the month, including a couple days each on Oliver Stone's new film about September 11th (called September at the time, I understand it has been retitled) and Emilio Estevez's Bobby (he wrote and directed it -- it's about the assasination of Bobby Kennedy).   My sister and niece, Sharon and Ashley, came to spend Thanksgiving with me, and I had a wonderful time visiting with them.   To end the month I returned to Close to Home, which is one of my favorite shows to work on.   That time I was a court clerk.   I have no idea about an air date for that one.

December --
I began the month with a couple of days on
Cold Case as, get this, a high school track team student (which is hilarious to those of you who know I don't run).   I also did a couple of commercials as well as episodes of The Disney Channel's The Suite Life and House.   House is always great to work on, and this particular one was great fun.   It actually required some acting.   I was a nurse, and a team of us rushed in to get a transplant patient for surgery.   The medical advisor spoke with each of us and gave us specific directions of what we would do and how we would hold the different medical items.   To top things off, the patient was played by Howard Hesseman (of WKRP fame).   He was very friendly and an extremely nice man.   I ended up having a great conversation with him.   Also in December I went up to Fresno with my friends to see Reba in concert.   It was at the Table Mountain Casino in Friant, and if you are ever in the area, you should definitely stop by because they are all wonderful, nice people.   They took care of us, and we all had a wonderful time.   Midway through the month, I returned home for the holidays.   It was great to see all my family and friends in New Mexico.   I also made a quick trip up to Albuquerque to see Brenda Lee.   We have been friends for five years, but had never met face to face (we communicated online and through the phone).   It was great to finally meet, and I had a wonderful time.   If you ever get the chance to see Brenda in concert, DO IT!

January --
After I returned home from the holidays, I went back to
Gilmore Girls.   This time I was a Yale student.   I've also done several commercials (including ones for Sears and Verizon), a music video (for Bo Bice), and a movie (Chronicles -- starring Jake Gyllenhall, Robert Downey Jr., Dermot Mulrooney, and several others).   I've also been getting reaquainted with a few of my old friends whom I hadn't seen in a while.   The end of the month will see one of my best friends up and moving to Texas on me, so I will certainly miss her!   Other than that, it's been a fairly productive month for me writing-wise.   I've been working on the second book in the Gidget series.  I'm also in the planning stages for two other picture books.   So, all's going well there!   Hope everyone else's New Year is off to a great start, and I'll be back soon (at least I hope to) with more.   Don't forget to sign my guestbook if you haven't already -- I always love hearing from everyone!
