I did more audience work for Ultimate Blackjack.   It filmed at CBS Television City (where The Carol Burnett Show was filmed and where The Price Is Right still tapes).   I was got to sit in one of the boxes to the side, however my view of the cards was blocked and there was no view of the monitor, so although I was right there I couldn't see anything.   I had to react off of others reactions.   It was truly bizarre, but it was also fun to see some of the big blackjack champs.

I worked on a new pilot called The Dr. Reef Karim Show.   It was meant to be a new hip & trendy/younger/ethnic Dr. Phil.   I was just an audience member at this talk show, and we taped different segments for over ten hours.   One of the interesting things was that it was filmed at RenMar Studios in Hollywood.   RenMar was one of the Desilu Studios in the 1950's and '60's (known as Desilu Cahuenga at the time).

I worked on the new midseason Fox show
Free Ride again.   It is mostly improvised, and this time I was a spectator at a wrestling championship.   We filmed at the same high school where I had just spent four days doing Nip/Tuck.   I didn't really do much more than sit in bleachers all day, but there were some amusing moments in the improvisation.
October 19-21 & 24, 2005
I spent several days on Nip/Tuck.   I was a plane crash victim, so I had makeup blood and bruises and ash all over me.   It was a great four days, and I was pretty lucky.   I was in the yellow group (only minor injuries), while some had all kinds of prosthetics and serious burns on them.   I only had to spend a couple of minutes in the makeup and hair chairs.   If you watch Nip/Tuck you should enjoy this episode, it will be a big one!

I did a Fidelity investment video.   I was a business man attending a lecture.   So, I got all dressed up in my suit and all.   We filmed at the Crown Plaza hotel near LAX.   It was an easy day, and I got some reading done.   They served us lunch in the dining room, and it was very nice.   The most exciting moment of the day came when they were using smoke machines and set the smoke alarms off -- for the entire hotel!   Alarms were going offf and lights were flashing, and security and the hotel were not happy.   It took quite a while to fix it, and then production was told no smoke!

I worked on an MTV promo.   I was a Gladiator, along with about 20 other guys.   We got all costumed and then they took us across the street to a bar.   They then proceeded to tell us to just hang out, that MTV had a bar tab for us, so have a couple of drinks and just hang out.   It was rather interesting, because by 9AM there were some people on their fifth beer!   It was a quick day though, and then I got to go home for some needed sleep.

I went to the Chino fairgrounds for a Tyco commercial.   It was a demolition derby with none of the cars hitting each other.   Finally, they all got out of their cars and started hitting them with sledgehammers.   So, that was my exciting night in Chino.   We finished around 4AM, and I had to be at my next job at 7!

I did Criminal Minds again.   This time I worked at their studio.   I was part of the Behavior Analysis Unit or BAU.   We did only one scene in the office, just making it look busy.   The neat thing was the prop guy was handing out IDs/lanyards.   He was trying to match people with IDs that looked like them.   He handed me mine, I looked at it, and he said, "It's a spitting image isn't it."   And I said, "It's me!"   They had taken a photo of me before when I worked it, and I didn't know it.   I still had my long hair at the time the photo was taken, so I looked different enough that he didn't think I was the same person.   Anyway, I really wanted to take it home with me, but I didn't!

October 7, 2005
I worked on
The Good German, which I had been fit for a few weeks earlier.   The exciting thing was that I was booked on a S.A.G. voucher!   There were only a few of us, so I got to work S.A.G.   I was a British soldier, and I was guarding a car.   The neat thing about the car was that it was a one of a kind, custom made for Winston Churchill.   Although it is priceless, when we asked for an approximate value, we were told at least 10 million dollars!   I also got to see George Clooney and Tobey Maguire.

I worked on
Flags of Our Fathers again.   This time it was another rally scene.   We filmed it on New York street at Universal Studios.   It was again like stepping into a time warp, but this time our surroundings reflected it too.   They had redone New York street to look like the 1940's.   They even had the Paramount Theatre marquis and everything.   It was a great night, and we were there until 3AM, which wasn't necessarily good for me since I needed to be in Pasadena at 7AM for The Good German.

October 3-4, 2005
I spent a couple of days on
NUMB3RS.   I was a college student, and the first day we filmed at Cal-Tech in Pasadena.   The second day we were at their studios.   The first day was mostly walking around campus stuff, and the second we sat in an auditorium for a lecture.
