April 2006
OK, so apparently the BLOG type set up didn't work any better than the old journal style.   The problem is that I'm just too lazy to sit down and work on this site.

Anyway, I'll try to give you some highlights of things that I've worked on for the last couple of months.

February --
I began the month by spending over a week on
ER.   It was great going to Warner Bros. every day, and seeing the same people.   Everyone was very nice, and since it has been on for so long, the show has everything down to a science.   After that I did several different commercials.   I also worked on the films The Wizard of Gore and Toxic.   I spent the rest of the month working on various TV series including the WB's new Pepper Dennis (my episode airs on Tues April 25), Criminal Minds, and CSI.

March --
March started with me doing reshoots for the film
Mr. Woodcock.   I had worked on it last year, and we were reshooting several scenes.   We were working up in Santa Paula (a long way from here!), and we did a couple of parade scenes on a couple of different days.   I also returned to Gilmore Girls, this time as Yale newspaper staff.   It was on last week, but I didn't see it.   After that I spent a week back on Pepper Dennis.   About this time I became part of the regular background for the show.   I am always crew and can almost always be found in the newsroom.   I also worked on the shows CSI:NY (which airs April 26) with special guest star Kid Rock, and spent a couple of days on the finale for Invasion.   As many shows shut down for the season, several pilots began production.   I worked on several including 13 Graves, 12th Man, and Secrets of a Small Town.

April --
So far April has been rather productive for me.   I worked on a new show for the Independent Film Channel called
Minor Accomplishments.   I was a cult member, and it was pretty funny.   Sally Kellerman was there (I believe she was playing herself in the episode).   I also worked on the pilots Smith and Welcome to the Jungle Gym.   Other than that I've spent the month at Pepper Dennis.   It's great to be a regular, because like a real job, you become friends with all your co-workers.   The crew begins to recognize you, and everyone trusts you to do your job instead of treating you like you are an imbecile.   Plus, Pepper films at Fox studios.   It is the closest studio to where I live.   I usually end up driving all over southern California, so it is a real luxury to only have to drive less than 3 miles a day!

So, that's what I've been up to the last couple of months.   And it has been a fairly productive period for me writing wise.   I was particularly inspired by one piece, and it only took me about a month, start to finish, to write it.   It's called
Auntie Rae, and I think it is quite good.   Stay tuned for more...
