50 WAYS TO KILL ME....often abbreviated 50WTKM started out in the late 90's as a joke, but quickly turned into one of the craziest bands of our time! 50WTKM is from Long Island, and it is the project of Jay Haley that spans numerous albums, that have been released all throughout the globe. I heard that Jay Haley invented a style that is all his own called....Mediacore. I would believe this also, because after listening to 100's of his songs, and seeing his live show, I can't think of anyone that sounds like him. 50 Ways to Kill Me is a unique entity. From my perspective, recently 50wtkm has evolved into a much deeper band, with lyrics that are often very political. Often times I find myself thinking there are much deeper meanings behind these catchy, grindcore, mediacore lyrics, that discuss the ills of humanity and society. The 50WTKM live show is very crazy, one of the craziest you will problably see.

50 Ways To Kill Me toured the US in July of 2005 with Eyes of Hate, a band that Jay Haley drummed for in NYC. Jay Haley wails on thrash drums, and Eyes of Hate tore up the venue! They were an extremely tight band! The lead singer of Eyes of Hate, Al of Hate, was a great thrash vocalist, and he was a large player in the NYC punk rock and hardcore scene.
