ILORIA DATABASE
Status: Tall, slender mammals that make up the largest portion of sentient beings on the island.

Height: 6 feet (avg male), 5'6 (avg female)

Weight: 175 (avg male), 125 (avg female)

Region(s):
B & M. However, the Namulians have explored the majority of the island.

Abilities: The Namulians are capable of advanced problem solving, using tools, building shelters, making fires, catching prey, and many other advanced levels of skills. They posess a decent amount of strenght, and claws that allow them to scale trees with ease and great agility. All of their senses are quite keen, and sufficient for the forest lives they lead. Namulians are also capable of swimming.
Namulian
    The Namulians are intelligent, bipedal mammals that have lived and evolved on the Island of Iloria for thousands of years. Although the name Namulian is commonly used to describe the furry humanoids you see above, they have evolved into two seperate species. The larger, forest dwelling species is classified as Namulius Namulian. The sub-species, the Golrithians, are classified as Namulius Golrithian.

The main namulian species are generally tall and slender, with long, straight fur that ranges from shades of golden-brown to charcoal-grey. Namulians have large appendages with long, clawed digits, enabeling them to scale trees and vines without concious effort. Climbing is as instinctual to these mammals as walking.

     The Namulians have mastered the art of wood carving, and are capable of making very sturdy wooden structures. The preferred place for their wooden homesteads are about halfway up the trunk of a tree, 15 to 20 feet from the ground. Namulians that live closer to Stonefield, and elder Namulians in general, build structures on the ground for easier access.

     These beings have witnessed the rise and fall of their own civilization numerous times throughout their history. In the year Pria-120, a massive war of territory broke out between the Namulians and the Kimodans (see the Kimodan data for further details). Winning the war with the simple aid of wooden weapons, the Namulians banished the Kimodans to the coastline. Centuries after, in the year Aia-1, Vulticus was awoken, and nearly ahnialated the Namulian Race. Fortunately, Kaezu, the Island's ancient guardian, was also awoken, and sent Vulticus back to the shadows.

     But perhaps the most fascinating attribute of the Namulians, is that of their bond with Kaezu: Guardian of Life, and protector of the Iloria Island. The Island itself has formed a spiritual bond between each and every Namulian, and their beloved Kaezu.
