by the moonlight and by hundreds of fireflies that had
gathered, the clearing was crowded by animals looking
forward the final of the duel. Tony's followers were already bragging about the expected victory of the Tiger. Simon's friends, though concerned about the Lion's old age, showed smiles of apparent superiority. The Giraffe and the Monkey ran fast. They were afraid of not getting in time. As
a matter of fact, when they approached the clearing,
there was a strange silence there. From the jungle side,
the Tiger approached, threatening, in slow and calculated
steps, his eyes shinning, scintillating, his back bent. And from the savannah, the lion came, majestic, imposing, yet calm and restrained. Well, at the very moment the two duellists faced each other - at that precise moment the silence and the expectation reached the peak and no animal dared to move a single muscle - something unexpected happened: the Smart Monkey and the Giraffe Scientist made their way to the clearing clumsily. The Monkey cried with excitement and alarm and couldn't stop jumping. The Giraffe showed a small bottle with her most recent invention: the magic potion that should transform Simon into a super brave lion. "I am the Giraffe Scientist!" declaimed the Giraffe proudly. "And I can solve all your problems!" She stretched out her leg to the lion: " Take this magic potion. It will make you win the fight!" But nothing happened as the Giraffe had anticipated. She had hardly finished these words when the clearing turned into a big mass. The bottle flied in the air and poured the magic potion exactly in the Tiger's mouth. He licked his lips happily.
