October 12, 2005. The CMF execom met with Bro. Edwardo Tresico of Redeeming the Nations Foundation at the Catacutan Office to discuss the latter's proposal to fund CMF activities for one year. Prior to the meeting CMF execom has brainstormed their one year gameplan several times. The content of this gameplan will be revealed and discussed to the Body in the forthcoming CMF meetings starting this coming October 25 at Pastor Lorenzo Belo's church at Dungon A, Jaro. There was agreement between the two parties and the funding will begin this October. CMF has already opened a Bank Account with Banco de Oro SM City (Mandurriao) into which the fund will be deposited. The signatories are Bro. Edwin Arana, Sis. Maggie Hofilena, and Bro. Demie Tidon, Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
CMF Directory
CMF is in the process of creating a CMF Directory of Services and Products which will contain all the Christian services and products provide by members of CMF member churches. This will become a resource book for all CMF and non-CMF churches in the future. We are in the process of brainstorming this. Please help us through your prayers.
Committees Being Formed
CMF is currently forming many committees to address the different issues that the Church is facing today. Please make yourselves available as committee heads and members. The following committees are up for formation:
1. OCW Committee - they will study and formulate a theology that will address the relationship of Filipino OCWs with their churches of origin once they go abroad. This committee will also prepare and publish training manuals and form a teaching team to educate church members of their responsibilities to their churches of origin.
2. ETS Committee - the Empowered to Serve Seminar Committee will facilitate the Empowered to Serve Seminars
