Alright, all hands on deck! It's time to write! I can't believe there was only one challenge all of last year. That's a shame and going to change, I promise. No more of this slacking business. Your job is to make sure I continue to post new challenges by rising to the occasion and tackling the current ones. Amazing how little motivation there is to write new ones when no one (including me!) is doing them.

This page contains the most recent writing challenges. If you write a response, e-mail it to me! Even if you don't want it posted, I would love to read it! If you want it posted, even better! Give me the name you'd like it posted under and it'll be up here before you can say.... well, something you can say quickly.

Also, check out the poetry page, where Kat's Poetry challenges have been posted. (Thanks Kat!)

Challenges 1-5

Challenges 6-10

Challenge 11, January 22, 2005:

Write a story from the first person perspective. Start your story with a weather report. This doesn't mean a "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" weather report. Just talk about the weather. I mean, you can involve a meteorologist if you'd like, it's simply not necessary. Enjoy.

My Response

Challenge 12, June 18, 2006:

Pick a place, any place, and take us for a virtual tour of it.

My Response

Challenge 13, January 11, 2007:

Free write! Your choice. Write about anything you'd like. Have fun!
