For the Coffee Lover
- O: It is using cold-blue background which doesn't match the image of warm coffee has. And compared to the dark background, the character used in this page is too slender. Therefore, it distracts to read the contents. And also Hyper-links under the page dont have systematic style. Each page has its own style so its confusing. Besides, the vertical arrangement of the hyper-links gives the sense of incompletion and instability.
- N: It is using relatively warm background color compared to the Old one. And also the unity of the hyper-links makes the site better look. Simultaneously, the crosswise arrangement of the hyper-links stabilizes the site. Plus, the font used in the new site touches of humanity, thus we feel friendly.
Coffee Lovers Test
-
O: Contents are on the left and the image on the very right side make my sights disperse. Its awkward to be located itself independently.
-
N: It is using a patterned background so that it breaks the monotony. And the indents given front of the numerically orders maintain the order look clearly.
Quotes from Olden Times
-
O: The image used in left are too small and dark so invisible. What is worse, the lack of margin between the title and the content makes the whole page to be leaning to up side. I was good trial to use the coffee color as the background to match with the main theme, coffee. However, it makes me feel sorry that I think its darkness is one of the main obstacles of the page. And the title and hyper-links are in capital letters. Lastly, it would be better if it permitted more space to the page.
-
N: The image used in this page is also small, but its easy to find out its intended meaning.
Other Coffee Sites
- O: The title and subtitle are exchanged in their location that would bring about confusion for the visitors. And over again, it doesnt have space above the title. I felt irritated to be in such a stuffy page. On the other hand, the broad margin between the title and subtitle makes unfavorable impression, as it is another. It should think more about its whole symmetry. Again the hyper-links are in capital and the image does not fit with the background. Also, unlike the Coffee site, the original one has links to pages that is not working.
Conclusion
The newer site, Coffee, is better than the Original Coffee Site.
