Canibus- Rip The Jacker: I never thought that canibus could top mic club. I was very wrong. This album is lyrically superior to any hiphop CD out there right now .I thought that canibus did his best work with mic club, but Rip the jacker is better as far as the story lines go. Songs like No return , Levitibus, PL 2 , Genabis are hiphop classic. As many have said, canibus is ahead of his time and for that reason , this album will not reach the top of the billboard chart and many average hiphop fan will have trouble accepting it because of the other types of music being played on radio right now. Had canibus released this album at the beginning of his career , he would be named as the best. I pray that he doesn't retire because he is the last true lyricist standing in the game right now. His word plays are phenomenal and Stoupe beats are incredible. From middle eastern rhythms to spanish, mexican, caribbean, reggae, orchestral and even gospel tracks, DJ Stoupe does not falter. Pair that with absolutely unparalleled intellectual lyricism that will have you racing to find the meaning of Canibus' deep lines and you have one of the most carefully crafted albums ever. Wow, there's just nothing else to say if this still hasn't convinced you. Even if you have 2000 mp3s and never owned a cd, then make this your first. You won't regret it. EVER. Support REAL rap. 10 OUT OF 10

Boo Yaa Tribe- West Koasta Nostra: 1. Bang On ft. Mack 10, nice beat by Battlecat, the hook is a little repetitive but the rest of the song makes up for it. 2. On Me ft. Kurupt, nice verses by Ridd and Kurupt, nice beat by Battlecat (like always), once again the hook could've used something else too it 3. State Of Emergency ft. Knoc-Turnal, Oyster Boy, and King Lou, judging from the minute or so snippet, this will probably end up being my favorite off the album, Battlecat yet again brings the heat (this guy is underrated, in fact I'm not gonna bother commenting on the album's beats cuz BC rips up everyone), can't really say anything about the verses yet as I've only heard 1 and a half of probably 4 or 5 4. 911 ft. Eminem & B-Real (from Cypress Hill), the Eminem production is not as good as the rest of the album's BC beats, but I can deal with the song as a whole, as Em, B-Real, and Ridd come with some decent verses 6. Heated ft. Short Khop, Boo Yaa is great here, but Short Khop just annoys me, always has, so I guess I'm a littled biased 7. The Kalling ft. Murder One, darker song comparitively to the album up to this point, but just as tight 8. N Full Motion ft. WC, funky, funky, funky, that about sums up this song. 9. Legends, the only song without guest appearances, judging from this minute and a half snippet, this will probably be my second favorite, once again thats about all I can say from the little I've heard so far 11. Take Yo Fade ft. Crooked I, Eastwood, & Kokane, no surprise Crook and East bring some major heat, Kokane is alright on the hook, third favorite from the album. 8 OUT OF 10

Brotha Lynch Hung- Lynch By Inch: Nothing by Lynch will ever top Season of the Siccness. As Lynch fans, I think we'll all need to accept this. But, that doesn't mean that Lynch By Inch isn't a tight album. At first, I thought it sucked, but after giving it a few more listens it's grown on me a lot. Lynch spits ill on this and the beats are dope. He seems a little bit mellow on some of the joints, kind of similar to how he was on Loaded. He's still doin things the gangsta way though, if you peep Death Dance and Bleeding House Mystery. Also, there's good contributions from the Siccmade camp, Yukmouth, and some others. 8.5 OUT OF 10
