Daz Dillinger- DPGC You Know What I'm Throwin Up: Daz finally hooked up with his cousin Snoop since Retaliation, Revenge, & Get Back oh yeah and also he hooked back up with the High Priest Soopafly and Bad Azz. Also Gangsta Advisory recordingz and Dogghouse records together thats great. Also he had other production from Dogghouse Meech Wells and Fredwreck. Also Crystal and P.F.N. sound tight for real. This is the album I've been expecting Daz to deliver since he left Death Row. Most of the tracks are produced by Soopafly, who did an amazing job behind the boards, and Daz comes tighter than ever on the mic. Definitely one of the best albums for 2003! And oh yeah, the DVD is dope too, with a long interview and videos from the album.
Finally, Daz does a fine album, great west coast music dat u can juz chill. And Daz does sound amazing. Probably cos Soopafly and other guys did most of da production. Honestly, Daz has never sounded better. His lyrics are sharper, esp. his disses at Ja, Suge and Kurupt. Most of the 17 tracks (wit music and all) are fine, xcept the annoying skirt noises in "Skirt Out"(STIL A BANGING SONG BY FRED WRECK!). Da music is mostly smooth, and sometimes ominous, like Snoop's new album. And Daz has never sounded better. Songs like "Dog Catcha","I'll Beatcho Azz", "Introduction 2 Mayhem, "Ain't Nothin But A Gangsta Party", "World So Cold", "I Got That Fire" "Deez Niggaz Trippin"and "Don't Stop" are juz some of da better tracks where Daz what he does best... a lot of sh!# talking, a do or die attitude, and a lot of partying or riding. And he speaks some truth in "A Message To Ricardo Brown."
