Jurassic 5- Power In Numbers: I must say that this group gets all of my respect for being tight lyricists and for the quality of music they have put out. This album is filled with good beats and tight lyrics. Some of my favorite tracks are "Freedom", "One Of Them" and "Hey". Overall, this album is bangin' and watch for Jurassic 5 to be a well known name in the rap music industry. Finally, something that is original and real, not fictious and flossed out. Thank the lord for people like Jurassic 5! 10 OUT OF 10

Canibus- Mic Club: This is a tight LP for Bis. Very strong lyrics like you'd expect from a an emcee of his caliber. The production is progressive and expansive, and also I'm just excited to know that he is still doing his thing to stay consistant in music. Undisputedly Bis is under-rated and arguedbly one of the best true and bonified mic-tech emcee's of the handful that are still practicing the principles of the art of wordsmithing and punchline rhyming. Bis is continuing to raise the bar for the mediocore emcee in train of thought, mastery of craft, cannyness, consciousness, and vast of vocab. He is to be reconed with and will reclain his prestiege and value because he is top billing...and parallel to PERFECTION!!! 10 OUT OF 10

Fatal- Self Titled: J Prince of Rap a Lot Records drops another bomb ass street album. HIs label has defintely made up for last years slow releases as he puts out Fatal's second album. This album is on point and he is one of the best Outlawz and they need to put him back and do it right. One thing I did not understand was the diss of Snoop on the album. I mean he has had ALL this time to do it and he waits until now? (he even has done it in recent interviews) Other than that, Fatal comes with the heat. Rap A Lot has to have the tightest production crew on the Southside. The Outlawz are all over this album and even though it was done in 1999, this album is still one of the best on any coast. 8.75 OUT OF 10

Facemob- Silence: No Devin, Scarface is only on 1 track and this album is still kicking from the gate! Mr Lee handles most of the production and he does not disappoint as the beats will rattle your system. DMG carries the album with his tight vocals. Tracks like "Lay It Down", "Midwest Gunslangers", and "F The Police" showcase the reality rap the group has been known to speak. Expect each cut to be as ill as anything you've ever heard on the Scarface solo as well as the previous Geto Boys albums. And FaceMob as a collective can indeed hold its weight in the Hip-Hop arena. 8 OUT OF 10
