Kool G Rap- The Giancana Story: This Veteran O.G. rapper strikes again wit this hardcore album. His lyrics are still great and his beats are raw as normal. I think it one of tha best albums of this year. There are some appearances one the album by artists like: AZ, Prodigy & havoc of mobb deep, CNN and some others. He left off the banging cut with Snoop and Devin and the DJ Premier cut but even if you are listening to G Rap for the first time, you are in for a real lyrical treat. If you like eastcoast rap, you gotta check this cd!

Erick Sermon- React: One of the seemingly eternal questions in the hip-hop community is "how many albums does Erick Sermon have to make before people stop comparing him to EPMD?" While his pioneering former group has one of the most storied legacies in rap, Sermon has been making quality recordings of his own for some time, and if ever one of his solo albums deserved to be judged on its own merits, it's REACT. Throughout the album, Sermon drops his visceral, streetwise raps over a sonic framework full of funk, R&B grooves, and cutting-edge beats. Although everyone from original soul man Al Green to neo-soul superstar Angie Stone turns up for a guest appearance, it's Sermon's own powerful style that sets the tone and makes REACT elicit such a positive reaction.

Swizz Beats- Ghetto Stories: With Swizz Beatz boasting a background as a celebrated producer/songwriter/remixer/DJ whose credits include membership in the Ruff Ryders crew, it's no surprise how many famous friends popped by to appear on his debut SWIZZ BEATZ PRESENTS G.H.E.T.T.O. Much like his work with others that eschewed the use of samples in place of original party-ready beats, Swizz keeps this winning formula intact whether he's pumping strings to give the title cut an operatic feel or the ominous blaxploitation groove permeating "Guilty," a duet with dancehall superstar Bounty Killer. Such is Swizz's pull that he's got Metallica and Ja Rule tearing it up on the thunderous "We Did It Again," Nas and Fat Joe tossing in their two cents on the "Salute Me" remix, and Ron Isley lending his dulcet tones to the smooth Jadakiss workout "Big Business." Other notable names include upcoming R&B thrush Mashonda teasing LL Cool J in the sensual "Ghetto Love" as well as holding her own against Shyne in a track of the same name that ended up being the last recording he worked on before being sent off to prison. SWIZZ BEATZ PRESENTS G.H.E.T.T.O. is that rare combination of an extensive Rolodex meeting an exemplary talent.

I have beensupporters of these vets since their 1st album 4 real! Their latest release "Nightmare in A minor" is a definate WU-banga! They spark high-powered KNOWLEDGE in their lyrics over some ill NYCity type beats. In an industry polluted by glamour & glitz, the GRAVEDIGGAZ bring a breath of fresh air for civilized minds. If you aint got this one, go get it!!!
