So So Def- Definition Of A Remix: Jermaine Dupri's rapidly rising Atlanta-based So So Def label is the home to major rap talent, as evidenced here by the appearances of P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Da Brat, all of whom lend their considerable skills in this combination of label sampler and remix tribute album. Label scions Jagged Edge combine with Run of Run-DMC in a remix of "Let's Get Married" and contribute soulful vocals to the lush, after-hours "Promise." The precocious Lil Bow Wow (in perhaps the last time he appears as a diminutive on an album) is accompanied by Tigah in a remix of "Puppy Love" from his BEWARE OF DOG album. DEFINITION OF A REMIX's finale, "Where the Party At," is an all-star affair featuring the entire So So Def crew that's a fitting climax to this solid, inclusive display of Dupri's talent roster. 8 OUT OF 10

Cypress Hill- Stash: This EP is a collection of unreleased and remixed tracks put on 1 album. I really would have liked to see the "Tequilla Sunrise" remix with Fat Joe and the "High Life" remix with King T, Kurupt and Baby S included but they are not on the album. That is not to say that the album is a complete bust. The "Amplified" remix done by Fred Wreck is tight and the "Illusions" remix by Muggs has one of the coldest beats I have ever heard. The radio edits are a bit annoying, but overall this is a must have for any Cypress Hill fan. 7 OUT OF 10

Nas- From Illmatic To Stillmatic: This EP is a collection of songs that Nas has done that were either unreleased or remixed. When it comes to lyrics, it is hard to get better than Nas.Whoever thinks that he aint goin no where is not a fan of raw, street poetry. There are only six songs on this cd, but, they are all excellent. Fools who know nothin about hip hop have no right to even judge Nas. Name a rapper who can tell a story about the hood with more detail and truth behind the lyrics. Notable tracks include the "Street Dreams" remix with R. Kelly and the "Affirmative Action" remix featuring The Firm. 8 OUT OF 10

Knoc-turn'al- Knocs Landin: "The Knoc" feat. Dr.Dre & Missy Elliot is one of the first tracks I heard off of this album and I must say not bad for the album's first single, the beat will make you nod your head and everyone on this track is tight with their lyrics. "L.A. Nite & Day" is the second track I heard off this album and this is your typical west coast rap song, the beat is very laid back and Knoc-turn'al flows over this beat with no problem, this is my favorite song out of the three I've heard on this album. "Str8 West Coast" is the third song I've heard off this album and it is also tight with its beat and lyrics but how can you sound wack if Dr.Dre is making your beats for you. I have a good feeling that once this album hits stores it is going to make a lot of noise and Knoc-turn'al will be the talk of the rap world. 8 OUT OF 10
