Greg Street- Six 0 Clock Vol. 1: This DJ from Atlanta premieres his first mix album to Slip N' Slide Records. The results are very impressive as the various songs and freestyles mesh well in the album. Highlights include: "Street Sh*t" by Scarface, "Country Star" by UGK, and "Beat Box" by Ludacris. Outkast, Three 6 Mafia, Trick Daddy, Trina and many other Big South hitters are on this as well, making for a enjoyable compilation to bump in the whip. 8 out of 10
Big Ed- Edward Lee Knight: As many of you know, Big Ed passed away earlier this year from cancer. After being a long time No Limit soldier, he left the label to form his own last year. This is his last album before he died and it does have its moments. Songs like "Assassin" and "Take No Sh*t" featuring Ruff Ryder Fiend are definitely high points and they are very much in the same vein as much of the songs that were done on No Limit. But songs like "Wanna Hit" and "Take It Off" really pull the quality of the album way down. R.I.P. 5 out of 10
Most Wanted Boys- Down Bad: Kane & Abel's fledging label puts out another album before the boys go to the slammer for drug trafficing. This seems more like a compilation than a group album, as many of the guests that appear on the album outshine the group (not good). Snoop shows up on "Down South" and Juvenile on "Say Dat Then" but even their vocals can not save this album from going "Down Bad" as their album title suggests. 3 out of 10
