To quote the artist, C-Bo is "the face you see on the homicide wall." C-Bo is back with his 10th album and it is one of his best once again.  Musically, Life as a Rider is business as usual: heavy bass beats anchor brittle and menacing synth-based medleys, although judiciously placed violins and snare drums do shake things up a bit. Lyrically, it's the typical grim and grimy smorgasbord of set reppin', drive-bys, and adulterous acts in the backs of Cadillacs. But C-Bo's flow is on point and his well-chosen gangsta collaborations add flavor. If you're a West Coast thug or a fan of thugged-out West Coast music, this CD is a must-have. Tracks that you must check for is "West Coast" with Killa Tay, 151 and Spade, "Cowboy" featuring Kokane and "G's & Hustla's" featuring Tray Dee of the Eastsidaz.

C-Knight- Knight Time: Fans of The Dove Shack will certainly remember C Knight. He was one of the founding members and his smooth vocals mixed with a gangsta twist. Now he is on his own and has dropped his first solo joint. This cd is off the hizzle. This is a cd you should copp because it makes your head just rock. bad Azz he just ripped it on "Bang That S***", and every song the Dive Shack members appear on is half the reason the cd is tight cause with out them this cd is not the same. If you are a DS fan, by all means, get the cd. If you are a casual rap fan, you too should check it out for the banging beats and to take a journey with "Knight Time"

State Property- The Soudtrack: The group consists of Beanie,Freeway and duos Oschino and Sparks and the Young Gunz (Chris and Neef). Without a doubt Beanie tears the mic to shreds as he spits relentless flows on "No Glory" and "Don't Realize" GLORY. But his bearded heir Freeway also gets his shine with his hurried flow appearing on most of the albums tracks. His collabo with Beanie "ROC THE MIC" is a hit in its own right and can be heard bangin out of every ride on the street. The rest of the crew, while spittin lackluster verses at times, still manage to represent. They'll need to brush up on their lyrical penmanship of they ever wanna get to Beanie's level( Young Chris show promise though". The production on the album definitely steals the show with tracks such as "It's alright", "Trouble Man" and "Sun Don't Shine" painting a musical landscape reminiscent of THE BLUEPRINT. Overall, Beans come through and all the haters of the ROC need to take notice that the Roc-a-Fella tank has more than Jigga as a weapon but is loaded with artillery.
