| Poem more than Song-really too long to ever be a song, probably will be cut into bits for song material. Walking down a long, dusty road coyotes yelp and wild dogs threaten with mournful, somehow JEERING hollers so dark tonite as crickets chirp and moths wings whisper and all around me still breathe in crisp air and wish I weren't so alone Where did all the good things go? Why has life turned so lonely Where are the friends I used to know Just keep walking faster Has anyone noticed my Absense Do they realize I'm gone? Now the sun is rising Pink and Gold shimmering a new day promises But still I am only one Solitary in my thoughts I return to my home and noone is around Where do i go now? |
