a serious photo in the motherland or alternate title: sunburned and hurtin
A couple quick notes: these are all actual photos not scanned in postcards, though some of them appear that way. The beaches and towns were beautiful, but the tropical sun did take its toll on us that's why we look so red, we burned like crazy but it was worth it. We took a tour of the Bacardi rum distillery in Catano which we don't have any pictures of on this site in tryin to keep this short and to the point. The Catano pic of me by the statue is the same symbol I have tattooed on my arm. There were tons of Taino indian symbols, shirts and crafts all over the place which made me real happy. The majority of the pics we took were at El Morro. El Morro is a fortress that was built between 1540-1783 at the tip of Old San Juan. We first saw the fortress at night and it is by far the wickedest place I've ever seen, which I hope comes across in the night pic. What makes the fort that much creepier is that there's a graveyard in its foreground, at the bottom of the hill its on. The graveyard which we don't have pictures of on the site is right on the shore which creates such a contrast and at night makes for a bad ass hangout. We took six rolls of film, I couldnt put all the pictures up but we have them all in album at home. We also have plenty of tales to tell and items we picked up to show everyone. See yall soon
