Mumbai is a beautiful city located at the western coast of Maharashtra. British came and developed this city from many islands.

Majority of the population is Maharashtrians and they are very friendly and accommodative people. They hold Chathrapathy Shivaji and his forts with high esteem.
In 1950's Shri I.T. George Illipparambil, son of I.C.Thomas, Alapuzha, came to Bombay and joined Bharath Tools Limited, a well known company specialized in high speed steel. With his family, he settled near Centuary Bazar, Worli. Later he shifted to Andheri. He had great love for music and sports and was active in the field during his Adarshanagar life. After retirement, he migrated to Oonnukal, Kothamangalam where many Illipparambil family members live. He died in the year 1995 there. His children are settled in Dubai.
In the year 1982 Pius Illipparampil, son of I.C.Chacko, Wayanad, came to Bombay. He joined govt. services here. Shri. I.T. George gave a lot of support during his initial period here. He and his family initially stayed in new Bombay, and presently he is at Trombay.
Shri. Joseph Thomas Illipparambil, son of Thomas I.J (Kunjachi), Kurumbanadaom, came to Bombay in 1970's. He is presently settled in new Bombay with his family. He and his eldest son Shanton are working with Shipping companies.
