* This is a visual basic test program giving a birds eye of a family tree

* Appearance of the running program is given in the figure below
* Green boxes represent males, yellow- females and blue box represents wife of the male member
* Pink box (pho) below the green box shows thet photograph is available in the web and by clicking on it you can see the photo. Gray pho box means photo is not available.
* By clicking on any small green box you can expand the tree and view details of the person.
* for running the program internet is not required. but to see photographs internet connection is required
How to download the program
* Click on the yellow button "Familytree.zip" given here
* and save the compressed file in your hard disk
* unzip the compressed file ( in windows 98 -click on the zip file, right click it and then click extract to folder option)
* Now you got the file familytree.exe file
* double click the file and run it.
* for running the program internet connection is not required. but to see photographs internet connection is required

* As it is a visual basic program it requires some supporting files. In most window based operating system these files are available.
* for displaying a new family tree another program is requires - data entry familytreedata.exe
* As it is a test program, some errors can be expected. Kindly bare with it
