THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO THOSE GREAT DANES WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
IN OUR WORLD
DANES IN ACTION

I would like to introduce  Payton (Can. Ch. Lobato's I Am Sweetness, TDI)
Payton is a 1 1/2 year old male who owns Illini member Muggs Hawkins.
Payton enjoys visiting the local library and having kids read to him.
The local Kennel Club of Fort Atkinson, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin
has a group that goes to
two different libraries once a month.
The librarians have been  great at promoting the program....
"Payton's two hour appearance was booked solid and we had a total of
5 different breeds/dogs there!"

We would like to say..."A Big Paws Up" for Payton and Muggs in making a difference!

Payton and Muggs enjoy being read to!
I would also like to introduce Ch. Lyn-Bar's Absolute CD, CGC, TDI "Tyco"

Tyco is now a Veteran Great Dane (7 years of age).  He finished his Championship in short order at the age of 18 months, obtained his CGC and TDI around 2-1/2, and got his CD at age 5.

It became apparent when Tyco was a puppy that he had a extraordinary affection for people and especially children.  This seemed unusual because he was not raised around any children.  As a youngster when out at shows, he would seek out the company of children by working his way to them.  He passed his TDI with flying colors.  Unfortunately, he has not had a lot of therapy experience primarily because of his family's busy work and show schedule.  But every year he gets to go to the Hinsdale Library with his Godmother, Carla, for an outing to meet 5th and 6th graders.
This is a picture of Tyco on one of those outings.
This is awesome!!! Please take me back to the main page!
Tyco at the Library
At 6-1/2 years young, Payton still enjoys his time at the Libraries.
