I Will Always Know What You Did Last Summer

December 2005

"I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer: The Fisherman's Revenge" (UK Title)

"I'll Always" has to be a straight to DVD or an HBO movie. It had no original story, it did not accomplish suspense in the theatre, and it was more like a remake of "I Know" besides a couple of alterations to the movies plot (Demon Fisherman) death by pole.

Throughout the whole movie there was laughter, sadly and a number of the films cast sat amongst us. There were a whole lot of clichs but don't all squalls. The actors were good but did remind me of the cast of Dawson's Creek but with lack of back-story let them down. The Gore factor is the best about this movie and is extremely bloody in parts, nice bloody deaths. Deaths include a guy who gets his throat slit with the hook, original (NOT) very gory. A Girl gets her guts torn with the hook, Guy gets his face caught in the hook and then dragged threw a kitchen window, his face hits the ground hard and with a thud.

The 3rd film only links to part 1 & 2 via the urban legend route and connects to the original by having characters talk about the myth of the fisherman. There are other twists that connect the films but they aren't great. "I KNOW 3" is not all bad it's much better than "URBAN LEGEND 3" but it just needs to be improved a little.
