At the age of 21, EQ wrote a rap that was featured on an artist named BABY HEATHER "EP" called "GIVE IT UP" . The song was raved in the Bilboard Magazine as Up & Coming.
In 1994, EQ released and produced his own album on Supernatural Records called "F.A.T.A.L. He received alot of play on the college circuit. EQ attended school at the Art Instsitute of Philadelphia for music and video business. He also, interned at Sigma Sound Studio's in Philadelphia were he worked with Scott Storch and networked with groups like The Roots. From 1997 to 1999, EQ had two video's being played on Urban Xpressions on Channel 48. During his night time ventures, EQ was the night time manager at Club Dances under Bobby Dance.
With the hunger for hip hop still blazzin' in his blood. EQ decided to learn the business side of hip hop. He attended TEMPLE"S PASCEP program for entrepreneuralship 101. After gathering as much information possible, EQ started illadelStyles Recordings in 2000.
At this time, it is called illadelStyles / with three sub-companies
