The Illinois Chapter Political Relations Workshop will be held in Springfield, Illinois on Saturday, August 26, 2000.  The purpose of the workshop is to provide instruction to volunteer lobbyists so that they can be effective in educating (that is lobbying) legislators.  The workshop will include presentations by several individuals experienced at lobbying and will also provide attendees the opportunity to get a little hands-on experience as lobbyists.  More details will be provided, as they become available.
