i can't stand these bumper stickers on peoples cars any longer. when i see a sticker that says free tibet, i often think to myself i dont even know where that is. and if you want me to do anything, there had better be a good reason. upon closer inspection of these stickers you will not find any description of tibet, or why it should be free, and how it helps me. for all i know it could be an advertisement for free trial tibets. but the people with these stickers dont have any tibets. i also see a lot of jesus fish. ive got no problem with jesus or anything, but when i see a 1985 ford aerostar with wheelchair capabilities sporting a rusty spair tire and a P.O.W license plate on the side of the road with the hood open, i cant help but think maybe god hasnt been too good to this person. sometimes i see these stickers with democrat or republican slogans on them. they dont bother me too much, but when i see a sticker representing a democrat on an enormous pickup truck that is just wrong. giant pickup trucks are for rednecks. last i was told, rednecks prefer the candidate that lets them keep their guns, and marry their cousins. not democrats. it goes both ways though. ill see these honda civics with these hybrid engines that get 50 miles to the gallon driving at 45 miles an hour on the highway with republican stickers on them. i dont even have anyhting to say about that other than that is not the image i conjure up when i think of republicans. oh, and these assholes who try to pass me with these stickers promoting world peace are absolutly asking for war. if you pass me, you had better be able go faster than me, because i will tailgate you. im not talking about on the highway, i dont mind if you pass me then, but on those back roads that have the safe passing zones. also these gay stickers bother me too. not that i have any problem with gays, but they seem to be the only group of people who advertise who they have sex with on their cars. i dont have a sticker that says im straight. and nobody mistakes you for being straight. there are straight people who are mistaken for being gay. if your gay its fairly easy to tell. if you have a sticker that says your kid is in the honor roll at some crappy school ive got news for you. your kids gonna grow up to be a pothead alcoholic lowlife living in a trailer park with an arrest record. and so what if your kid is in the honor roll, everybody is good at stuff, your kid just happens to be good at the most boring thing you could be good at. people are good at musical instruments, and sports too. at least they're specific about their stickers. and what about the siblings of the kids with those stickers. that has to be very degrading. one time i saw a mercedes with one of those stickers that says shit happens. okay, not for you it doesnt. not if your driving a mercedes. the person with the jesus fish should switch stickers. basicly you shouldnt use your car as a billboard for who you want to be. its a bad idea. dont do it. |
