Have you ever been in love? To be able to have that feeling of adrenaline like nothing else matters in the world. How that significant other sweeps you from your feet and takes you high above the clouds to where you’ve never been. Where every moment spent with that person is lovely. When everything feels heavenly all over again. Where you’re only true home is beside the person you love. When you feel like you truly belong. When everything goes wrong yet you find comfort and truth in that person. When you can really picture yourself spending the rest of your life with that person. Embrace them forever and have your souls entwined in mind and body. I have.

I’ll tell you one silly thing about love it makes you do stupid things. When you try to defend that special bond you’ll do anything. Yet no matter how sorry you are, you will never be able to take it back. You have to learn from your mistakes and improve who you are. Love can change a person in many ways. The ones that choose to learn change for the better while the ones that are too damaged have their hopes ripped out. The truth is that when your heart breaks it hurts too much. You wonder if it was all worth it, and if it still is.

There’s basically a 99.9% chance that you’ll end up regretting most of the things you’ve said and done. Yet one thing is for sure, your never going to regret meeting that person and having shared so many beautiful moments that made each others lives truly special. Even after it’s over, your always going to care about that person because they gave you the most powerful gift of all, they showed you how to love. They gave a very special part of themselves to you that they can never take back. No matter what they say or how bad they want to. They will always have a piece of your heart, and you will never be able to replace it.
