For You:

I close my eyes and transport myself to your side. I always liked you and noticed you; there’s always been something about you that caught my attention. Yet I’m afraid I’m used to the cruelty of this life that has taunted me so much. God played with me when he put you in my path only then to take you away from me. Now I can only dream that I am beside you and that someday I once again  become the receiver of your warm touch and gentle kisses. There has been no other like you in my life and I’m not sure there will ever be. It is unfair that I’m tortured so. Me here,  knowing what we could have is real yet not being able to accomplish our goals. I don’t want to forget the times we spent together, I don’t want to be apart from you, I miss you and I desire for you to cross my path again but this time…for evermore.
