Battle of the Sexes

I’ve heard so many times the same cliché of “Men are from Mars and women are from Venus.” I am sure that many of you wonder where this comes from. Maybe it’s because Venus is hot and acid similar to a women’s passionate character, while Mars is cold and dry, characteristics that usually stereotype men but are not necessarily true. Or in a simpler explanation maybe a person just came up with this because we are so different and think in so many diverse ways, we can never be sure. Still does it really mean we come from different planets? I mean we’re all here on Earth living together, yet I must admit that I myself don’t understand men.

When you come to think about it a fact that makes us so different is that when women say something they mean something else. For example when they say "No, honey, I don't want anything for my birthday.” what they really say is: “If you don’t buy me anything, you’re so DEAD!". It’s so obvious that they want to be modest yet they want to receive nice things just like everyone else! To me as one of the feminine sex I know this but maybe a man may think that she is actually meaning what she says, and this is the first mistake a guy can make. For example I know of situations where the girls have told their boyfriends not to buy them anything for Valentines Day, and they are so naïve that they don’t. This obviously breaks up relationships and brings out fierce fights and public shows. Men should know that our classic word “maybe”, means either ''yes or no''. And that if any girl says maybe, she obviously is too shy and is probably going to make you (guys) find out what she really meant when saying our typical word, in what is a probably going to be a bad way. This may include brake ups, screaming or ignoring for a few days.

It is a theory that girls need men to understand or integrate in their language, so technically, we NEED men to understand us. They say the opposite, so they don’t show their feelings to men, demonstrating weakness. Of course it is my personal opinion that women use such language and such ways of hiding their true feelings in order to be in control. Lets be honest men are very easily persuaded and one must have them in their place. Women use a diversity of tricks and sneaky ways of finding out everything they want or need to know. They can see if you really care about them in a period of two days. They even use their social skills to find out what is really going on in your mind. The raw truth is that men are easily manipulated and as long as they let these women have their way they will continue to use their cards correctly.

Boys are a simpler side to humanity. Boys are blunt and straight to the point, they don't really want to wait around and do all the hard work in starting a relationship just to have the girl say “I just want to be friends.” Boys want the girl to say: “Let’s get it on!” and that’s it. Sorry for my boldness, but I’m simply being sincere. A thing about girls and boys that make them different is that girls dress up and claim to do it for the boys attention, but in reality as long as they are girls the guys will want them, it doesn't matter to them if they wear Versace or poor clothes. In reality women are just dressing up nice to impress other women. Same goes for guys, girls don't care what kind of car he's driving, but the guy needs the “sickest” ride as a way to impress other guys so in reality guys and girls are very much the same on that level. And yes my male friend, Joey, helped me on that. Even if we don’t want to we are stuck with each other and the truth is we can’t live without each other. Let’s be honest girls love guys and guys love girls.
