This is a description of what your horse will learn in English/Western Pleasure training.
Ground Level
The first step in the level is to get your horse to both english and western pleasure tack. He/She will be lunged with a english pleasure saddle and a bridle around a round pen. On the second day he/she will be lunged with a western pleasure saddle.
Beginning Level
Your horse will be ridden at a walk, trot/jog, canter/lope while using both saddles. As well as this your horse will learn the differance between jog/trot and canter/lope.
Intermediate Level
In this level your horse will learn to respond to cues and pick up the right gait that accompanies the saddle he is under.
Advanced Level
In this level you horse will learn the proper head and neck position.
Championship Level
In this level your horse will have practice shows and learn to take perfect cues, for last day he/she will get a calm relaxing massage.
