Desdemona wakes up gracelessly when he leans to kiss her and coughs in his face.

OTHELLO: Sleeping alone, mine ho? Where is your precious Assio?

Desdemona sits up.

DESDEMONA: wha?
OTHELLO: Zounds! Down strumpet! Have you nothing to confess?
DESDEMONA: W-
OTHELLO: Enough! I can bear no more your skanky ways!

Othello smothers Desdemona.

DES: Am I dead yet?
OTHELLO: What? Not yet dead?

Emilia bangs on door.

EMILIA: Master! Assio is dead!

Emilia enter.

EMILIA: Desdemon! Sweet Desdemon! What have you done?
OTHELLO: Out like a clap-light!

Iago enters.

EMILIA: Mine husband!
OTHELLO: 'Twas he who told me of her fornication of Assio!
EMILIA: Mine husband?
OTHELLO: Yes.
EMILIA: Mine husband?
OTHELLO: Yes.
EMILIA: Mine husband?
OTHELLO: Yes!
EMILIA: Mine husband?
OTHELLO: YES!
IAGO: Damn! It's busted! (claps)
OTHELLO: I can't take it anymore! Here is my butt! (claps and dies)
IAGO: Oh bloody period! Here on this communal bed they lie at my hands.

Iago claps and dies. The others wake up.
