| Present:� Lt. Qat'Iy tai-K'olSoh'hn (Kathy Mullins) and Lt. jg Doqloch tai-K'olSoh'hn (Doug Mayo) | |||||||||
| Other members had prior commitments and were unable to attend this month. | |||||||||
| Doqloch was presented with a certificate noting his promotion to Lt. jg.� The promotion was approved per my request to Admiral Kruge, following KAG guidelines. | |||||||||
| A donation jar will be made available at future meetings.� Funds will be used for expenses related to ship functions such as parties. | |||||||||
| Doug mentioned that Bob McCann of the USS O'Bannon was interested in doing something with a blood drive.� I have contact information for the American Red Cross.� Several possible locations for a blood drive were mentioned.� I want to have more crew present for their input.� | |||||||||
| Doug and I also discussed the possibility of getting crew shirts made by Wear-Guard for the crew.� He agreed to provide me with a catalog. | |||||||||
| Doug and I also discussed the option of having bylaws.� We agreed that a set of bylaws based on KAG guidelines would be beneficial.� I am now in the process of writing up a draft for the entire crew to provide input before they are finalized.� Doug provided me with the USS Nelson bylaws to give me a working model from which to work. | |||||||||
| The next IKV Astris meeting is scheduled for July 10 at 1pm at the Adelfia Restaurant. | |||||||||
