| Meeting Minutes for the IKV Astris May 8 2004 | ||||||||||
| In attendance:� Kathy (Qat?Iy), Scott (DIronwI?), Bob, Tom (tomaS), Lisa (LySa), Joel (Skyman), and Mike (Mertel) | ||||||||||
| We met at the Adelfia Restaurant for a lunch meeting. | ||||||||||
| Introduction of New Members:� Scott Grant and Bob Chin.� Everyone enjoyed meeting them and giving them a hearty IKV Astris welcome! | ||||||||||
| Food was collected for the Community Survival Center.� Thanks to those who brought food. | ||||||||||
| Charitable Activities proposed:� ?Blood Feud? to be done some time in the Fall as discussed by Scott and Tom.� Six Flags Star Trek Day proposed by Scott. | ||||||||||
| Recruitment flyers were distributed to everyone.� | ||||||||||
| A Communications survey was conducted to determine the best way for me to keep in touch with everyone. | ||||||||||
| Proposed social activities include Ren Faire, paintball and a joint mission with the USS Anubis (Duck Tour?some time in June, waiting for word from Peter Lutz). | ||||||||||
| Scott proposed that I create a Yahoo! group for the ship and the quadrant.� Excellent idea.� I should have the group up and running some time next week. | ||||||||||
| Having a treasury was also discussed.� Money would come from a donation jar and leftover money when we have lunch.� The funds will be used for ship operations such as paper supplies and for a social event yet to be determined. | ||||||||||
| A wonderful lunch was enjoyed by all.� | ||||||||||
