Bruno Mars as we all know was born on October 8, 1985 as Peter Gene Hernandez. He was raised in Honululu, Hawaii by parents peter and Bernadette Hernandez who are Puerto Rican and Filipino respectively with his five other siblings. For a very young age they were exposed to a exposed to a diverse mix of music such as reggae, hip hop, rock and R&B. Mars started impersonating and performing songs from artists like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, The Isley Brothers and The Temptations. As early as 4 years old he was already performing five days a week with his family band.
