| ACERCA DE NUESTRO PASTOR ABOUT OUR PASTOR Mark Drost fue nacido en el d�a 19 de julio del 1974, en New Brunswick, Canad�. Seis meses despu�s, sus padres, T.W. and Wanda Drost, fueron al pa�s de El Salvador como misioneros. �Claro, que el nuevo beb� les acompa��! La familia Drost estuvo all� durante del tiempo de guerra y muchas veces pudieron ver la mano protectora de Jes�s sobre ellos. Cuando Marcos ten�a 7 a�os de edad, la familia se mud� al pa�s de Guatemala, all� sirvieron como misioneros en la ciudad capital hasta que sintieron la llamada de Dios para irse a la naci�n de M�xico. A los 16 a�os de edad, el Hno. Marcos se fue, con su familia, para vivir en la Ciudad de M�xico. All�, como en todos los pa�ses donde hab�a servido esta familia misionera, hubo (y todav�a hay) gran crecimiento y avivamiento. Buscando la direcci�n de Dios para su vida, en el a�o 1992, el Hno. Marcos decidi� ir a estudiar en el Texas Bible College, en Houston, TX. All� conoci� a Eva Witmyer, y en el 18 de diciembre del 1993 se casaron en York, Pennsylvania. Despu�s de pasar una luna de miel en su pa�s natal de Canad�, la pareja reci�n casada fue a tomar el pastoreado de varias misiones (iglesias apenas empezando) en el D.F. M�xico. De all� fueron varias iglesias que pastorearon. Con la excepci�n de un a�o en Clute, TX como Pastor de Jovenes en la iglesia de los Hnos. Hector y Gloria Campos, estuvieron en la Ciudad de M�xico por 5 a�os. Despu�s de un a�o de hacer su gira misionera en los Estados Unidos, la pareja Drost sinti� el llamamiento de ir a la ciudad de Tijuana, M�xico para proclamar las Buenas Nuevas. Llegaron en enero del 2000. En Tijuana, levantaron una iglesia y tambi�n cruzaron la frontera para empezar una iglesia en Chula Vista, CA. En diciembre del 2000, lleg� el primer hijo, David Bill. Esta fue una alegr�a muy importante, viendo que en enero del 2001 la mam� del Hno. Marcos, Hna. Wanda Drost, se parti� para su morada eternal. En el a�o 2003, en el segundo aniversario del fallecimiento de la Hna. Wanda Drost, lleg� la bendici�n de una hija, Wanda Ruth, a la familia Drost. Despu�s de estar en TIjuana, B.C. M�xico por un peri�do de 6 a�os, 8 meses, el Hno. Marcos y su esposa, Eva, escucharon el llamamiento de Dios para ir a Dallas, TX. En un paso de fe, empacaron todo y se vinieron a la ciudad de Dallas. Pudieron ver como Dios abri� caminos para ellos y en marzo del 2006, tomaron el pastoreado de la iglesia hispana, una iglesia hija de Dallas First Church, Pastor Tom Foster. Desde entonces, han visto la mano de Dios movi�ndose y est�n emocionados por lo que Dios est� haciendo en la iglesia y la ciudad de Dallas, TX (English following) |
| ACERCA DE NUESTRA ESPOSA DEL PASTOR ABOUT OUR PASTOR'S WIFE Eve-Ann (Evie) Charlotte Witmyer naci� el 12 de julio del 1972 en York, Pennsylvania. Sus padres, Herbert y Ruth Witmyer, la crecieron en el amor y temor del Se�or Jesucristo. Ella mir� como sus padres desempe�aron sus talentos como maestros de la palabra de Dios en su iglesia local. Desde una edad temprana, Evie tuvo un inter�s en diferentes culturas y idiomas. En su adolesencia, ella queriendo ser una enferema, se hizo voluntaria en el hospital local. All� es donde ella vino en contacto con la idioma y cultura hispana. Inmediatamente le naci� un amor para ellos y cargaba dentro el deseo de un d�a poder ir al campo misionero y pasar su vida rodeada de esta cultura. De 17 a�os de edad pudo visitar al pa�s de Venezuela y all� se le confirm� sus ideas. Cuando se gradu� del High School, (prepa.) ella se fue a estudiar Educaci�n Cristiana en Texas Bible College en Houston, TX. All� tuvo la oportunidad de poder ir a la Ciudad de M�xico. Este fue un sue�o realizado para ella. Anhelaba conocer a M�xico. Otro sue�o realizado en la Ciudad de M�xico fue cuando conoci� a un muchacho guapo y noble que se llama Mark Drost. En el a�o 1992, este j�ven vino a estudiar en Texas Bible College tambi�n. All� floreci� el amor y el 18 de diciembre del 1993 se casaron Dios le ha concedido las peticiones de su coraz�n, d�ndole a dos hijos preciosos, la presencia de sus pap�s que su mudaron a Dallas, TX.,a un esposo a�n m�s noble y guapo con el tiempo y una vida rodeada del pueblo que ama, el pueblo hispano. | Eve-Ann (Evie) Charlotte Witmyer was born on July 12, 1972 in York, PA. Her parents, Herbert and Ruth Witmyer raised her in the fear and love of the Lord Jesus Christ. She saw how her parents developed their talents as teachers in the local church. From an early age, Evie has an interest in different languages and cultures. In her adolesence, born out of a desire to be a nurse, she volunteered in the local hospital. Here is where she came in contact with the Spanish culture and language. Immediately there was birthed a love in her and from that time she carried a desire to be able to go to the mission field and live surrounded by this culture. At 17 years of age she was able to visit the country of Venezuela and there her ideas were confirmed to her. When she graduated from high school, she went to study Christian Education at Texas Bible College in Houston, TX. There she had the opportunity to go to Mexico City. This was a dream come true for her. She had longed to go to Mexico. Another dream come true for her was when she met a handsome and Godly young man named Mark Drost. In 1992, this young man came to study at Texas Bible College also. There love blossomed and they were married on Dec. 19, 1993. God has given her the desires of her heart, giving her two precious children, the presence of her parents who moved to Dallas, a husband who gets more handsome and Godly as time goes by and a life surrounded by the people she loves, the Hispanic peoples. |

| Mark Drost was born on July 19, 1974, in New Brunswick, Canada. Six months later, his parents, T.W. and Wanda Drost, went to the country of El Salvador as missionaries. Of course, the new baby went with them! The Drost Family was there during time of war, and many times they saw the protective hand of God on them. When Mark was 7 years old, the family moved to the country of Guatemala. There they served in the capital city until they felt the call of God to go to the nation of Mexico. At 16 years of age, Bro. Mark went with his parents to live in Mexico City. There, as in all the countries where this family has served as missionaries, there was (and still is!) great growth and revival. Seeking the direction of God for his life, in 1992, Bro. Mark decided to go study at Texas Bible College in Houston, TX. There he met Eve Witmyer and they were married on Dec. 18, 1993, in York, Pennsylvania. After spending their honeymoon in his native country of Canada, the newlyweds went to take the pastorate of several missions (newly started churches) in Mexico City. There, they pastored several churches, with the exception of one year as youth pastor en Clute, TX, in Bro. and Sis. Hector and Gloria Campos church. They were in Mexico City for 5 years. After a one year deputation in the United States, the Drosts felt the call to go to the city of Tijuana, Mexico, to proclaim the Good News. They arrived in January of 2000. In Tijuana, they raised a church, and also crossed the border to start a church in Chula Vista, CA. In December of 2000, their first child arrived, David Bill. This was a long awaited event and brought much happiness to the family. Sis. Wanda Drost, who passed on to her eternal dwelling place in January of 2001, had faithfully believed that this event would occur. It was such a joy that she was able to hold her first grandson. In 2003, on the second year anniversary of Sis. Wanda's passing, the blessing of little Wanda Ruth arrived to the Drost household. After being in Tijuana, B.C. Mexico, for a period of 6 years, 8 months, Bro. Mark and his wife, Eva, heard the call of God to go to Dallas, TX. Taking a step of faith, they packed everything and moved to Dallas. They can see how the Lord opened ways for them and in March of 2006, they took the pastorate of the Spanish church of Dallas First Church, pastored by Tom Foster. Since then they have seen the hand of God moving and are excited about what God is doing in the church and in the city of Dallas. |
| Despu�s de ocho a�os de espera y despu�s de muchos doctores y varios p�rdidas de embarazos, el Hno. Marcos y la Hna. Eva fueron bendecidos con dos hijos hermosos. Son milagros de Dios porque los doctores hab�an dicho que no existiran. Ellos llegaron a este mundo por las oraciones y fe de sus padres, abuelos y muchos m�s hermanos David Bill naci� el 5 de diciembre del 2000, en Chula Vista, CA. El lleg� un mes antes del fallecimiento de su abuela, Hna. Wanda Drost. Fue un tiempo conmovidor viendo que ella siempre hab�a cre�do en su nacimiento. Su segundo nombre, Bill, es por su abuelo misionero, el Hno.Bill Drost, conocido como "Bill Drost, el Pentecostal". David es un ni�o, como cualquier otro, que le gusta constucci�n, carros y soldados. Le gusta ir a sus clases de Kinder y est� sacando buenas marcas. El ama a los hermanos de la iglesia y le gusta ayudar en todo. (English following) |
| Wanda Ruth naci� el 15 de enero, 2003, en Chula Vista, CA. Viendo que ella naci� en el segundo aniversario del fallecimiento de su abuela, Hna. Wanda, le pusieron el nombre de su abuela. Su segundo nombre, Ruth es por sus abuela materna, Sis. Ruth WItmyer y su bisabuela paterna, Hna. Ruth Drost. Todo el mundo conoce a Wanda como "Princesa". Ella es una ni�a alegre que ha tra�do mucha alegr�a y risa a la familia Drost. Wanda le gusta todo lo que es de ni�a; princesas, mu�ecas y ropa bonita. Ella dice que un d�a quiere ser doctora y obliga a todos a tener un "examen" de la "doctora". (English following) |

| After 8 years of waiting, many doctors and 3 lost pregnancies, Bro. Mark and Sis. Eva were blessed with two beautiful children.The children are miracles from the Lord because the doctors said they would never exist. They came to this world through the prayers and faith of their parents, grandparents and many other saints. David Bill was born on December 5, 2000, in Chula Vista, CA. He arrived one month before the death of his grandmother, Sis. Wanda Drost. His second name, Bill, is for his missionary grandfather, Bill Drost, known as "Bill Drost, the Pentecost". David is a typical boy. He likes constructing things, cars and soldiers. He likes to go to his Kindergarten classes and is getting good grades in school. He loves the church people and wants to help with everything. |
| Wanda Ruth was born on January 15, 2003, in Chula Vista, CA. Seeing that she was born on the second anniversary of her grandmother's (Sis. Wanda Drost) death, she received her name. Her second name, Ruth, is after her maternal grandmother, Sis. Ruth Witmyer, and her great-grandmother on her father's side, Sis. Ruth Drost. Everyone knows Wanda as "Princess". She is a happy girl that has brought much joy and laughter to the Drost family. Wanda likes typical girly things: princesses, dolls and pretty clothes. She says that she wants to be a doctor and obligates everyone to undergo a "doctor examination". |
