| Iggy Collars got started after I decided that I liked having new and different collars for my two "Iggies" (Italian Greyhounds) and started making them myself. The reaction was so positive that I started making collars for other dogs I knew, and it grew from there. I started off with collars designed with Italian Greyounds in mind, and now make collars for all sizes of dogs. The sighthound breeds have a particular need for a safe collar, due to their head and neck structure. They can and do slip out or back out of their collars - this is where martingales and limited slip collars are essential. If properly fitted, the risk of them getting out of that type of collar is much less. HOME |
