shall rest upon the democratic and institutional frameworks of the Republic of Ukraine, in order to promote the ideas for improvement of the civil society, development of democracy, with a special view on the cooperation between the citizens of the Republic of Ukraine and the citizens of the neighbour countries and the countries of the European Union.
In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Ukraine, and for accomplishment of its goals and assignments, this association will be in close cooperation with associations from Ukraine and other countries, especially with the European Forum ALPBACH from Austria.
For the Initiative Group in Kiev the most important goals to which shall direct its activities are:
- Promote information about the European Forum Alpbach amongst Ukrainian students and encourage them to apply and participate in the European Forum;
- Encouragement of the cooperation between youths from Ukraine and youths from the countries of the EU;
- Promotion of the peace and stability, by student exchange programs and science cooperation, discussions, symposiums, conferences and festivals in the Republic of Ukraine, as well as supporting similar events in the country and abroad. Establish scholarship programmes to send students as participants to the European Forum Alpbach;
- Promotion of high level of understanding among the citizens of different communities in the Republic of Ukraine, with the help of open liberal discussion and democratic dialog.
