TOPIC: WHY “SAFE SEX” IS NOT SAFE

WHAT IS SAFE SEX?

“Safe sex” is a sex education term meaning “sexual relation with safety or protective measures against pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases”. Today, the purported key means of this “safety” is the use of condoms, which is made with latex material. (Latex by best manufacturers has intrinsic holes called voids, which are 20 times larger than the HIV/AIDS virus).

HOW SAFE IS CONDOM SAFETY?

Studies show that use of condom to prevent pregnancy is only effective in 80% of cases in one year. Pregnancy is usually possible in a woman only for 15% of the year. Deadly Disease like HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) are transmissible 100% of the year. Unlike disease, which are never desired at any time, pregnancy is but a blessing desired at one time and unwanted at another. At 80% safety, condom could be dared for family planning within marriage but not beyond that.

Below is condom safety profile against dangerous Sexually Transmitted Diseases:

HIV/AIDS is incurable and deadly - Condom safety is 70%

HBV is incurable and deadly - Condom safety is 80%

HPV is incurable and deadly - No condom safety

Syphillis though curable is deadly - No condom safety

Herpes is incurable, not deadly - No condom safety

Molluscum is incurable, not deadly - No condom safety

Chancroid is curable not deadly - No condom safety

Chlamydia is curable, not deadly - No condom safety

Bacterial and protozoal urethritis (e.g. Gonorrhoea) and pelvic inflammatory diseases (PID) though curable could cause infertility and only have a condom safety of 70%

WHY SAFETY SEX CAMPAIGN DESPITE THE DANGERS?

Safe sex is not a campaign for safety but a campaign for “nihilism” (i.e. rejection of all religions and moral principles and opposition to all restraining authority). This is the reason for the foolhardy condom safe sex propaganda instead of campaign for abstinence and marriage fidelity. The dangerous propagandists, lead by Planned Parenthood organisation in America propagate a misconstrued sex freedom or positive sex philosophy. This philosophy is that since sex is private, it should be subject only to the free choice of the concerned partners; it should not be subjected to religious, ethical or scientific regulations. They apply the same argument to abortion and homosexuality even bestiality.

The safe sex campaign is not only irreligious and unethical; it is also unscientific, unrealistic and unsustainable. At its heart and base, it is self destructive, wicked and deceitful.

Natural common sense, most cultural practices and religious norms all through the ages uphold safe sex only as premarital abstinence and marital fidelity. Christ revealed the ultimate safe sex measure as premarital abstinence and monogamous, life long marital fidelity. Matt. 19:4-9. However, condom safe sex campaigners insist that restraining people to abstain is interference with their freedom, yet asking someone to use the condom is interference with his/her freedom. They say that abstinence and fidelity are impracticable and uncivilized.

To them civilisation is “nihilisation”, and annihilation. They have redefined freedom to doing what one chooses irrespective of whether it is right or wrong. Common good is not significant for them, personal choice only matters. Yet we all know that freedom is being free to do what one should for one’s good and the good of all. Freedom is not blind consciousness but sound liberty to act right. For the nihilist nothing is good or bad yet preaching abstinence is bad while propagating promiscuity is good.

Why should we blindfold our youths to damage themselves physically, psychologically, morally, emotionally and spiritually? Let us arise to soundness and say, “No!” to jeopardising the human race through promiscuity. Let us insist on taking the right action – premarital abstinence and monogamous, life-long marital fidelity. This is true safe sex at its best.

FAILURE OF CONDOM SAFE SEX CLAIMS

When Europe and America acted right with respect to communicable diseases, the diseases were largely eliminated in their society. Now with regards to STDs they are acting wrong with condom safe sex movement. And they have only succeeded in multiplying STDs by four times in the past 30 years, (i.e. doubling the STDs every 7 years). Out of 250 million population of USA, 56 million (i.e. 1 in every 5) has STD and 45 million of these STDs are incurable such as HIV and HPV. Of this 56 million, 80% are not aware that they have STDs yet, till their case becomes serious. Every year 12 million people are infected and re-infected (i.e. 33,000 daily), of these 63% (i.e. 22,000 daily) are under 25 years of age. What a future!!!. These figures are authoritative official figure from CDC Atlanta, US. Where will this take us? The time to make the right choice and act right is now or never. Not only STDs are rising, the murderous practice of abortion with accompanying unwanted teenage pregnancies has quadrupled as a result of condom safe sex propaganda. Thank God that not all Americans think wrong: the Pro-Life organisation is at work and has shown that in colleges where abstinence is taught as safe sex among teenagers, STD and pregnancies crash down as soon as the message is taken.

In Uganda, Africa, HIV was about to wipe out the nation because of promiscuity. When the national government chose to say no to the condom safe sex blunder and began to act right with their campaign for abstinence and marriage fidelity, HIV was reduced by 75% over the last 10 years.

Hear the Ugandan President Museveni speak:

“I have been stressing a return to our time tested cultural practices which emphasizes fidelity and condemnation to premarital or extramarital sex… meanwhile we are being told that only a thin piece of rubber stands between us and the death of our continent.”

The Bible says:

“Flee sexual immorality…. He who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” (1 Cor. 6:8.)

“Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals... shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (1Cor. 6:9-10).

Dr. Robert Renfield of Walter Reed Army Institute said:

“Simply put, condoms fail. And condoms fail at a rate unacceptable for me as a physician to endorse them as a strategy to be promoted as meaningful AIDS protection”.
