| You've found your way through all the Corn to the Revelation pages. Well, you'll be glad you did as here you will see loads of Cotc Revelation images, a review of the film and quotes pages. This is one of my fav movies of the series and it deserves so much more credit than it gets. I haven't found any Cotc fan sites that have Revelation pages so I wanted my site to be different, and a lot more up to date. I'd love to hear from other Cotc fans about their opinion of the film. Enjoy looking round the Revelation pages. Please do not use the photo's on these pages without asking for permission from myself as it took me a very long time to put these pages together. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| First of all I want to say wow, what a great sequel. If you're a Children of the Corn fan or just a horror fan, then you shouldn't be disappointed. I was so surprised by this one as I was expecting it to be terrible, in the same league as Cotc 3 or 5 (which have to be the worst of the Cotc series!) But Revelation really impressed me. The story centres on a rather worried Jamie (played by Claudette Mink) who visits her grandmother as she has not been returning any of Jamie's phone calls. When Jamie arrives at her grandmothers home she discovers that she has moved into some very run down appartments, which are due to be demolished. She also finds that her grandmother is not in her apartment and has disappeared. She goes to the police and gains the help of a young detective (played by Kyle Cassie). They both begin to find out disturbing stories about Jamie's grandmother and her apartment, which seems to be over run by some scary kids who never speak. This film is not really scary but it's extremely freaky and it builds the tension throughout the film very well. The children are horrible little buggers. They kill off the people who live in the apartment one by one and some of the deaths are actually quite bad. Also the characters, although few, are very good. Jamie is attractive and quite a strong willed character. She practically has to take on the creepy children by herself. She has to work out what's going on and where her grandmother is. The cop who gives her a bit of help, is quite funny and adds some humour to the film. And Tiffany (one of the people renting the apartment, played by Crystal Lowe) is a sweet girl even if she is such a blonde! She should be in the film a lot more than she is as she's an interesting character. In conclusion, Revelation will keep your attention and you will be at the edge of your seat, as it's such a strange film you're constantly wondering what will happen next. It's got some great characters, scary children and good death scenes. It is definitely one of the best Cotc movies, by far. Cotc and horror fans everywhere have to buy it. |
