Swimfan
Time: One hour and twenty five minutes
Director:John Polson
Starring: Erika Christensen, Jesse
Bradford, Shirri Appleby
Rating:PG-13

Swimfan was a movie released only
about a year ago claiming that it was thee
"scariest" movie of the summer.
This is a pure lie. Swimfan doesn't even
manage to be slightly scary. It's biggest
problem is the horrid acting. Erika
Christensen came off as a nearly comatose
teen who didn't change her face once.
Now some might argue that this is to give
the viewers of her sadistic serial
killer side. Another lie.   She appears as
sadistic as a stuffed bunny. And the most
painful thing is that after this she still managed to get another job. She is proof what a healthy
bust can do for some actresses.

Bottom Line: If this movie had dumped some
old fashioned blood and gore into it perhaps
Swimfan might have been salvaged.
But as the weapon of choice was a pole, yes
a pole, it couldn't muster even that.
Avoid it. Burn it. Just don't watch it.
