| There have been so many superstitions throughout the ages, ones that predict luck, ones used to keep children in line... read about some here. * If you drop a dish towel, expect company. * If your left palm itches, you're going to recieve some money. * But if your nose itches, you're going to get in a fight. * If there is a red ring around the moon suggests a misfortune. * A newly baked loaf of bread should immediatly be cut into quarters to prevent those who eat it bad luck. * Not flushing the toilet brings bad luck. * Both wearing a hat indoors and placing it on the table will bring you bad luck. * Rubbing a Buddah's stomach (statue or figurine) will bring good luck. * When you wake up in the morning, take the pendant of your necklace and bring it in a counter-clockwise circle while making a wish. * Don't spill salt. When handing salt to another, set it down on the table to avaid bad luck. * During a thunderstorm, cover mirrors (never break them anyway), put away your scissors, and avoid petting cats. * Some people always say "Rabbits, white rabbits." on the first day of the month. * When 13 people are sitting at a table, the first to stand up will die. * Knocking on wood cancles a jinx. *Daniella's told me that if your ear hurts, it means someone is talkign about you.
