Sunny
Once there was a high school guy who was driving to the spring dance in their car. We shall name him Henry. It was raining hard so Henry was mostly concentrating on driving. Suddenly he saw a girl standing by a road in a bright yellow dress apparently hitch hiking. So Henry stopped the car and asked the girl if she wanted a drive. She silently nodded and got inside. Once inside he asked her where she wanted to go. She replied that she was going to Frahen High school for the spring dance. Henry couldn't believe his luck. Recently he had broken up with his girlfriend and didn't have a date.He wondered why he hadn't seen her before. So to get friendly he started talking to her trying to make a conversation. He learned her name was Sunny and she didn't have a date either. He noticed she was shivering from standing in the rain so he lent her his football jacket. After they arrivcd they went to into the gym(dance place) and had a great time( at least in Henry's case).
By the end of the dance he decided he was in love with this mysterious blond girl. In order to be a gentleman he offered her a ride home. She happily agreed. When he got to the house he saw it was a long way off from the place he had originally picked her up yet he didn't say anything. The following day he went to the house to pick up his jacket and see how she was. When he got there though an old lady answered the door. "Hi, is Sunny there?" he asked. The old woman's eyes filled with tears. She motioned for him to come inside. She showed him a picture of a pale blond
girl dressed in bright yellow. She started to speak "Sandra was my daughter ,but everyone called her Sunny because she loved the color yellow. Quite a few years back she was killed in a car crash
going to  her spring dance."There have been many boys before him that had picked her up for a night of fun then came the next day to check up on her."I think she keeps trying to get home." she continued tearily. Henry ,now very shaken, returned to the strip
of road where he had picked her up. There over the side rails
hung a slightly damp football jacket.
