Finally, I found the courage to get up and go to my brother's room to see if he was playing tricks on me. When I got there, I was suprised to see my brother sitting up in his bed crying. I went over to him and asked, "Whats wrong?" He started to stutter, but he finally managed to say, "Katie, I've been hearing weird unlifelike sounds, and i don't know what they are!" "I'm scared too," I told him. So I held his hand, and together we walked to my parents room. They asked us what we were doing scaring them like that. When we told them that we didn't know what was going on either, they decided that we all were just hearing things and that we should just go back to bed. I stayed in my brother's room until he fell asleep wich didn't take that long. I couldn't fall asleep 'cause those screems going off like bombs going off in my head kept me awake. I decided that I was going to go find out what this was all about. I went to the kitchen where I heard the first sound and I found the backdoor open. Even though it was a hot humid night, I felt a breeze of ice cold air on the back of my neck, and i was thinking, "my mind is playing tricks on me. I am facing the door, but I felt the breeze on the ba..." i turned and as soon as I heard those screams again and thought I saw something go by, I ran upstairs. My mom and dad were really upset now. I explained the whole story and they didn't believe me, until Cody came in and had a expression on his face that made your hair stand on end. He told us that he had seen a woman dressed in black lace at his door. I don't hear anything anymore, and Cody jokes about it now, but how do u explain the piece of lace i found the next day caught on Cody's door hinge? ahh!
