| Ghost, n.- The supposed disembodied spirit of a deceased person; soul or spirit seperate from the body; concieved of as appearing to the living as a pale, shadowy apparation. (Webster's dictionary) As most of us already know, a ghost is the spirit of a dead person. but the dictionary has something wrong: ghosts are in color, the look just like you and me. (I've seen The Brown Lady in color, she's not white.) But why would there be a ghost in the first place? Well, most ghosts have some unfinished business in the world, but some don't realize that they're dead, and some reason's are unknown. So you think your house is haunted... Here are some things to think about: *Do objects mysteriously go missing and/or reappear in odd places? * Do shades go up or down on they're own? * Do objects fall when no one is near them? *Have you heard unexplained voices? * Have you seen shadows of a person, or looked around to see a person for only a split second? If you answered "yes" to a lot of the questions above, your house may be haunted. So you know your house is haunted... Well, now what do you do??? Try to make con tact with the ghost. Remember to be respectful, ghosts are still peopel and you wouldn't want to be followed around by and angry spirit for the rest of your life! If you can't find out who they are, look for clues. Try to trace the people who lived in the house before you. Try to see if there is some unfinisehed business you can help out with. If not, tell the ghost (kindly) that they're dead! tell them that they should move on to a better life. If that doesn't work, sprinkle salt and purified water around your house. Be patient.
