One late afternoon at about 6:30, Melissa's parents decided to go to a party that they had thought they weren't going to be able to make. They told Melissa that she was to lock the door and not open it to anyone. She said, "Fine mom i get it I'm not stupid." So she locked the door behind her parents when they left! She did not know the back door was unlocked. She did her homework and ate supper, then took a shower. After that she went to bed and she was scared because it was late and her parents still weren't home, so she petted her cockerspaniel that had long shaggy hair and the dog licked her hand. She kept hearing drip, drip, drip, from somewhere in the house so she thought she had left the shower on a little bit. She climbed slowly out of bed and went into her bathroom and opened the curtain and she saw her dog hanging and its throat was dripping blood! Drip, drip, drip! She screamed her head off and went to her mom and dad's room where on the door written in blood it said HUMANS CAN LICK TO! |
