| Once upon a time, there was a boy named Alex. He was a very good child; he ate his veggies and obeyed his parents. Alex could do anything he wanted to do because his parents trusted him, except for one thing. He couldn't ride his bike after dark since he lived near Lake Erie and his parents feared that he would go into the lake. One day Alex was riding his bike home from his friend's house. He didn't notice that it was too dark out for him to ride his bike. Then all of a sudden there was a SPLASH! Alex had riden his bike right into Lake Erie. He screamed and screamed but there was something pulling him under. So he drowned without anyone noticing. Then it was 12:00 and his parents came home from the fabulous dinner the had had. They thought Alex was sleeping in his bed so they weren't worried about him. Then in the morning his parents woke up to a creak on the steps. "Alex honey, is that you?" Alex's mom called. But the creature ignored her and kept walking. "Alex is it you?" Alex's mom called again. Still ignoring her the creature slammed the parents door open. Alex's mom looked closely at the creature. It was all slimey like it had lived at the bottom of the lake. But as she looked closer..... "ALEX!" his mom said in a cry. Alex was holding a dagger and starring at his mother.
